I dream of Chef An’s garlic noodles from Crustacean! It’s really a simple dish and I’ve tweaked it a bit to make a Filipino version!
I happen to always have these asian ingredients in my pantry because they are so versatile in Asian cooking and can be used for so many things.

- Oyster Sauce
- Fish Sauce
- Maaggi Seasoning
- Soy Sauce
These are top 4 are always in my pantry and my go to when I want to cook Asian food.
Alright…I know you’ve been waiting for this recipe. Like I said it’s really easy and takes about 15-20 minutes to make!
Calamansi Garlic Noodles Ingredients: - Spaghetti Noodles (about half of a package) - salt for pasta water - 1 stick of butter - 1 bulb of garlic, minced - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tbs oyster sauce - 1 tbs fish sauce - 1 tbs Maaggi Seasoning - 1 1/2 tbs calamansi juice - Parmesan Cheese (add to your liking) Directions: - boil water and add salt. Cook pasta for about 8-9 minutes. You want this al dente because you will saute it in the sauce! - Heat up pan and melt butter in medium high heat - Add garlic and garlic powder. Mix - Turn down heat - Add Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce, Maaggi Seasoning. Mix - Add cooked pasta and toss with sauce - Add calamansi juice - Add Parmesan Cheese
Viola! That’s it! How easy is that! You can also add any protein you like…shrimp, steak, chicken, crab..etc!
